Our Church Covenant
Having been led by Spirit of God of God to receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and on profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God enter into this covenant with each other, as one Body in Christ.
We promise to be faithful in prayer and Bible study, to strive to cultivate a Christian lifestyle, and to treat our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
We covenant to uphold the doctrines and ordinances of our church; to sustain its worship services by attending regularly, and to contribute faithfully of our time, talents, and money.
We promise to live within this fellowship in Christian love and mutual concern, nurturing the believers in this Body.
We covenant to create and nurture a Christian atmosphere within our homes and to strive for the religious education of our children, to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances, to have a Christian influence on the social issues of our community, and to be supportive of our church's mission in the world.
We agree that when we move from this community we will, with as little delay as possible, unite with another church family where we can carry out the call of God and the spirit of this covenant.
